LOL K, TY!

That p/a into the close was so classically engineered towards positive closure of weekly bar, if they didn't do what they have done weekly bar would have engulfed last weeks' bar, almost like green light to bears.

Here, I am posting a weekly chart, could you please explain what you mean by 'engulfed last weeks' bar.' Always keen to learn new ideas.
Wow! What a move at the end, I don't know whether I would have seen it coming, had I been around, although there was a pennant breakout on the ym and an increase in volume. I think, back in January there was a similar move, when market lifted itself with 40 points thurst. Lucky those who were on the right side of the market. Incredible! :D

callmate, that chart looks wildly bulli$h to me.

I think we are at the beginning stages of a major rally.Feb 1995 all over again.

pull up a chart of that year and you will see what Im talking about.

Friday, February 22, 2008

The Bureau of Trader Career Statistics today announced that 13 trader's careers ended as of the week ended February 22, 2008.

This was an increase of 2 traders over the previous week and and increase of 9 over year ago numbers. The trader's career ending ending 4 week moving average was pegged at 7.

"Many traders careers ended today on a massive rally" noted C. Moore Butts. "We have been expecting many trading careers to eventually end with this rally as has been widely posted on et."

Additionally Mr. Butts added, "We expect many more trading careers to end in the coming weeks. Trading careers are like water and can wash away, wreaking major havoc like a major storm."

idiot!

Thanks good information. Please keep us updated on the stats.

If price closed near the lows then you would have seen pattern similar to this one, bearish engulfing. OK, on its own it might have diminished meaning, but considering that current pennant has bearish continuation indications importance of an engulfing pattern increases. I only look at candle (basically p/a analyses) patterns as secondary indications, meaning there are multiple situations where you might see a hammer pattern, not all are lucrative enough to take the bait though.

I see nothing less than 50, possibly 60 points to the upside by friday.

It will be interesting.
