FWIW I see a continuation pattern ...triangle consolidation upper range being tested here at ~1368-1371... if market wants to turn off this setup this could be the last touch (also happen to be a DT) before we break to the downside pretty hard with a target to 1290.

a couple questions:

1)what is the most ES has gapped up from open to close?
2)what is the most ES has gone up in a single day?

I dont know the answers to these questions, but we may break both of those records tomorrow.

again i come home from the bar, and storm and vol are tradin barbs,shall i throw in a slant or let it go, well the other night it had a lot more heat, if you are going to entertain us,at least bring it to boil,......all insults aside ...storm ...good call on fri.....seeif it holds till the opening, now editing.. it was vol and atticus, my mistake, anyway i'm in the negative camp with vol.although storm got me midweek and on fri.....hats off storm...

I meant close to open.meaning how much has ES gapped up from one close to the next open?What is the record for that?

this morning may be a record setting day.

and yes, many trading careers will end permanently this morning.
 
Been short since last night at 1365

Thought we would see a lot more red this morning and we did early on but we are starting to catch a bid.

Bias is still lower today and over all lower until we retest those lows again on the daily chart. After that I think we could be in for a drastic pop.
 
Hey, Spooz_top,
would you call this a diamond in the RTH? (bottom right hand side of chart)

submitted for ES Journal perusal, Daily, RTH, potential daimond and GAPS.

I am not here to argue the signficance or insignfigance of gaps.
I present the chart and the potential diamond because they're on My daily RTH chart. (by the way, price looks like it will probably create a gap today on the open)
