i just can`t help but feel they may want to rip this thing north off the announcment to that 1400 level & possibly higher........just smells like a bear trap to me as there is plenty of air north on the daily & weeklys as we could trade up to 1450 & still mantain downside TL.

15/30 min can be seen as possible cup n handles or IHS depending on todays PA....

J,
what DPTL?

This DPTL. Granted, its about a 2 pt range which is wider than I usually use, but looks major to me. The 1385 area is is stronger however.

Jay

Note: these numbers are 68.50 to 70.50. Not sure where I got the 72 number. just took it out of my notes. Ignore that. Better yet, copy Apex!

Daily looks like shit. To move the future you have to have stocks being bought. Ad line is in low 40's.

How much ice cream can the fed serve up before you get sick of it?

John

NQ higher frames (hourly, 4-hours, etc.) will likely determine the direction for the rest of the day.

NQ has a clear spike and ledge type of formation since the sudden rate cut. If the bottom of the ledge is taken out, the downtrend should continue for all 3 indices.

FOMC has to surprise the market........

if they don't ....trends down in equities will continue...

75 basis cut will be a nice surprise.

hadn't thought of that, How about a full point cut, that would scare the shorts. What's your long term outlook on the yen?

oh,trust me....i`m as bearish as a bear can get mid/long term but it seems to me PA is luring in short interest here only to stick a dagger thru their hearts with a run that`ll bearly alter the daily & weekly & THEN resume the downside after the cleansing move is complete..................just my synopsis & observations on the big TF`s..........just too much air up top for me to be a comfortable seller here.

fed is toast,imo.....anything they do will be a temp fix.....confidence is shot in the fed as they are not here to help the cause but have their own interests in mind......not that of the people because if they did...they would be supporting the USD & raising rates to fight hyperinflation...........big old stag bear is here for a long time ala the `70`s.
