Long GOOG 542.40

atticus my man.... high tick was 595 2 days later.. hope you caught a longer term swing on that... that is where I went short :)

lol, you DID know something. I held a small position, but used GOOG as source of funds to buy the NDX 1750/1850 risk-reversal at -14.00. It was +5.00 within hours. Most of my deltas were in NDX.

Check out one of Mark Douglas's books... I'm reading "Trading in the Zone" right now. I haven't finished yet, but I can tell you that if your having confidence issues it could def help.

"how I trade for a living" by gary smith is a good book for trading Mutual funds for overnight action. It is older so it doesn't refer to futures as much but it's basic premis is manipulating the overnight action based on each days moves and comparing day to day moves.

Very successfull, if you think about how many days in the last 2 months or so you could have shorted the night after an up day and went long the night after a sell off. Not 100% but 80-90% success.

You use a lot of trade the markets stuff, no? or is it Advanced trader wokshop? Can't remember where I saw about dptl's and fib breaks. Any info on where to find study material and what was most helpful would be great.

ImO Gold is getting ready for a bit of retrace here, anybody else think so?

imo the angle of the uptrend (too steep) and fundamental conditions support higher prices for the forseeable future.

Gold can run through divergences like nothing else...
