bonds rolling over nicely.. about to take 1st profit here when it gets to 4x the risk..

then stop will be moved to BE and 2 units will remain short with a be stop

now if only someone could start hitting the yen....

B1S2, although I admire your patience to stay in the position, your not using a tighter stop loss also means that today you just gave back 80 ES (!!) points gains....

My stop is placed where I want it to be right at the moment. We saw a nice bounce to be sure today, but the trade off I take is the ability to be off doing other things rather than watching all day etc. My style would allow me to not even check every day--(although I do at least take a look and reenter my stops if I feel they need to be entered).

Attached is the current daily chart which I posted earlier but this version is after the close today. As you can see, in the bigger context, today was just a bounce and I will stay short for now. I am also holding all other trades that I have open as well including long Yen and Long 10 Yr notes.

:)

The Nasdaq would have been a good place to apply not the rule of 10, but of 100.

The last two days, the declines ended right between 100 and 105 points.

Buying it today after being down 100 would have worth 106 plus points.

Interesting, but as useful now as Brett Favre being told that he shouldn't have thrown that IT on Sunday.

I've never applied it to nq and not sure it would work well since it seems to be a more volatile contract. I used to trade YM using a rule of 100 and it worked pretty good.

low of 1698 on nq +200 makes 1898... overlaps anaylsis zone of mine and am going to short it heavy if it can get up there.

But until then watching the 1860 area on nq for a large swing short.

Trade on 11/13/07 was very similar to today and deserves a look.

Please post your chart for us to see. Thanks.
Have you noticed that the thread is being cleaned every now and then:D

Wonder how the rule of 10 long signal is fairing.
looks like a decent area to get flat or short
