CFC was halted right after popping about 10% at 1:05pm. That sent C, GS etc. up enough to cause short covering.

Funny, CFC not going bankrupt is enough to cause some panic buying. It used to take good news, not a lack of bad news.

The benefits of low expectations!

What constitutes "good news" and "bad news" is contingent upon the market's response to it. The market is not ALWAYS right, but it is pretty close.

Don't they have to check with the fed first? Here is a long term chart of spy as opposed to a continuous es contract. My rhetorical question is if and when we test $1380.00. The chart shows a trend line back to 1994 which would break around $1350.00 or so. I know I am not the only one who sees this. Please post date and time for this test, thanks. :p

I'm not at all sure where we're going, at least for the moment. The market APPROACHED the day's low, but a new low was not made, so I have no idea what supply lurks under 17.50. At this point, I see congestion. Therefore, no positions.

buying es now.. small stop looking for retest HOD 5 to 1 RR will close out on a 5 min reversal bar

closing out now for -3 ticks


will look to get back in if we break that recent high
