maybe just a little later today, covering will spark a small rally, but i bet most just said f' it today and left for the weekend...
 
Everyone expected the Fed's Kohn to say something to help the market, but it didn't happen. Then everyone expected Bush to say something after his meeting to help the market, but it didn't happen. Now you see what the market does without government intervention.

They will do something at some point, and their measures will probably get more desperate. It is just a matter of what they do and when they do it. It will cause a short covering rally, but the long term effects are anyone's guess.
 
Its been a long time coming... the economic catalysts are certainly in place.. the market structure supports it beautifully... I dont bet against those odds...
