Quote from apex82:

leaving an order resting overnight short at 1473 with a 5 pt stop...

target will be 1430-1440

missed fill at 1473 by a point but got in at 1470

7pt stop

market acting well to the resistance..

first target 1460

Quote from riskymove:

It seems to me the markets are moving off the ECB's record injection - feels like it could fuel some upside fire especially depending on what GS reports and how it acts.

"These are strong-arm tactics intended to show the market they're seriously committed to breaking the deadlock," said Marc Ostwald, a fixed-income strategist at Insinger De Beaufort SA in London. "The ECB is helping to bankroll banks out of a problem that they themselves created."

This is exactly what I was talking about. Even if you think we are in a downtrend, I don't think it pays to just go short and wait, you have to be careful with these ongoing government interventions.

Apex,
+10/-7, that is a low R/R for you isn't it?

King,
One simple answer is that many US loans are tied to Libor, and all the Fed's actions thus far have not brought it down. From the same article on Bloomberg:
"Maybe this is the sign we've all been waiting for that a peak in Libor has been reached," said Patrick Jacq, a fixed- income strategist at BNP Paribas SA in Paris. "It's a definite sign of an improvement in the market."
