Wow, that breaking news at 9:02 would be 2 minutes too late. Good to have CNBC on. And when ur price ladder flies off ur screen w/out seeing what's going on, no pending news.... follow the trend. :)

yup.....it is no accident or coincidence.......the powers that be know where to paint the charts.

I get a call from an old colleague (corporate cubicle clown), yes I was one once also. Anyways, the guy thinks he knows what he is doing so he takes 50k and invests it last week. He calls me and tells me he is down to 15k and wants to know what he did wrong. He has about 3 months experience.

You should only wish you had more contracts if your account supports it. Imagine how many cowboys got wiped out on that move?

Well, I decided to cut my contract amount by 60% because of volatility, but moves like that are pretty self evident. I watched it hang around 1500 for a moment or too and caught it at 150025 before it went up up and away, I could have held on for another 9 pts but no one ever went boke takin' profits.

I know exactly what he did, traded too many contracts at a time. get your trades right with small contracts and work your way up. Too much in ur account gives overconfidence, ESPECIALLY when you just deposit it and don't build it up because of winning trades. [1st hand experience :( ]
