Quote from Matt24SPFL:

Yes, I'll be the first to admit that my bullishness got slaughtered today. ...

Biggest loss of my short trading career.... Greed and cutting losses. That's all it's about.. 99% of my trades were profitable at one point in time, most of which stared at me with a clear reversal. My inability to see the abstract has come to blossom. None of my friends understand what I do and I just really needed to vent.

I have a lot of other shit going on in my life that has tied up a bunch of money. ON top of that, i am dealing with legal issues. Thank you all for your contributions to this forum.

I hope you all cleaned up today. I would never wish this upon anyone.

Have a great weekend.

on a seriuos note....you`ll be back with vengeance.....experience is the only teacher & wish you the best of luck with your other issues.i`m glad you were able to find some postings usefull & most importantly.............& this goes for everyone.....never,ever,ever let your performance in the market dictate/effect your value as a person....that to me is the biggest rule of all.

1506 ... then 1485 .... F the Fed !!!!

....Fed manipulation does not help.....
edit... and there we are !!! 1506.75
we are now at approximately 38.2% retrace from correction low
next target is 50% retrace at 1485 ....

when we start losing faith in the fed.....that`s dangerous!

is the catastrophic event of `07 looming?

happy anniversary to the bears ....bout time they got theirs....something tells me there is more form them in store.:)

ummm Ed.......how you doin`?

hope you can make it for dinner..........how do you want your steak/bull................well done? :p :p :p :p :p

This was a fucking blood bath. I do not often use vulgarity but it was ugly. I was out most of the day and did not trade.Knowing my luck I would probably wipe out my account. Instead I made around $50 which on a day like this is a total victory.

Yesterday I was holding 1 contract and was up around $60. just as the market was closing down I had it long and was thinking of holding it overnight. Greed was telling me to go for another $150 93 points) but I have decided to stick tomy guns and sold it. Boy am I glad I did it. It would have been a disaster today. :D

... the easiest-to-see tip-off to this move i think.... which i mistakenly interpreted as bullish instead of bearish....
... was that as we pulled back from the high......
.... RSI AND STOCHASTIC on daily chart went to extreme levels quickly ... even though price had not pulled back that much

agreed......this is big......& i will be looking to sell the hell out of this bloated pig on lifts up......for those thinking they missed the move,i believe this is only the beginning of carnage & look to blast the living hell out of 1375.
bear markets are my strength as i trade them immensly better than a bull.

you showed nice discipline kicking that car Saxon........unlike our unfortunate poster named eddie, whom is sitting on a ticking time bomb.......a 20 car/ 10 point loser with unlimited downside & no risk defined.

can you say blown up!

The only person that can save him is Chuck Norris.

So, Chuck, if you're out there and you're reading this, we need one of your roundhouse kicks to lift the markets.

You did the right thing. If you feel bad about it, just think where you probably would have puked it at? Here is a daily chart for
the record.
