Uptrend still very much intact. Holding long DEC NQ from 2026.75 as well as the 4 smaller DEC Long ES positions. I will add a further ES long on a dip to 1556.25. I do not use targets, however it would not surprise me to see a move to 1750 over the next 12 to 18 months. :)

Between now and then, how much of a pullback would it take to surprise you (or to put you flat or short)?

Pullback to 1500 or high 1400's would not be a surprise. Pullback to 1300's would be.

We need to at least hit the weekly continuation high of 1566.25 and then retreat from it before I would consider a short. Most likely though that sometime in October , we touch 1600 and perhaps more. :)

Good answer. Next question: Would you expect such a pullback (say to 1500) to occur sooner or later?

Later or not at all in this uptrend market.

I do want to point out though, that in terms of projecting highs and lows, pullbacks and retracements, I am not very good. I would rather just buy when I think we are headed up and sell when I think we are headed down and then let the market tell me when to get out. So, I may pass up profit targets and live through pullback heat, but I leave the door open for profits that I cannot fathom when I enter the trade initially. (All with less commission) :)
