Stops are in place. After reviewing the other indices my bias is now changing to bullish if they can take out 1534-1536. The russel looks very strong and the nq is impulsing to the upside. So when I am done shorting it must be time to go down :)

Anyways, my posts all day were nervous. I didnt like that 1520 low holding and I may now take a small loss from various short entries starting from 1535 over the past few days or so. Remember, this was a position trade 100+ points so I understand I cant be right 100% of the time. I would be happy with 50% of the time on these trades. I have been 2 for 2 on the past 100+ pt drops traded with extremely tight stops so its only a matter of time until I have to choke up a loss. Who knows, it may still workout but when it doesnt feel right I always close out and ask questions later.

On a good note... all my stocks in the portfolio that I posted that I was short are all in the money in a big way. The only thorn in my side is PXP... however, its still in the money....just wont roll over.

Nice to hear from you so late. So Volente is not the only one working AH. I am concerned with 8:30 news. If it is bad (worse than perceived) then we will deflate ... momentarily. However, I think the market has already absorbed the news and when everybody looks for a drop it actually may not occur. So far Nikkei is flat but it was up nicely in the morning session. Europe is still asleep. Morning will surely provide more clues.
 
I have to tell you, I am surprised that the market is so high so late. It should have dipped down a little bit. Actually, I am hoping it will hit my stop,so I could go to sleep. I hate those all nighters. I worry that once it does get to 1535 I will get greedy and wait for 38 and then for 40 and then I will fall asleep during regular hours and miss some chances to make $$$. Dilemmas, dilemmas.
Also, I wanna short it badly to have an excellent position in the morning. Noting beats the feeling of satisfaction when you start a day with fresh $$$$ in the account.


BTW Nikkei just woke upand is up almost 50 points. A good sign !
