Gotta go out for a few hours. Leaving my short on with a close stop. Hope to be back before the close. Good trading, all!
Just back, catching up on my ES Journal reading. The short I left 3 hours ago was stopped out for a small loss. I see that we finally "closed the 4:15 gap" by touching 1531.25. Too late in the day to short again, so I'll see y'all tomorrow.

The out-of-the-money SPY Nov 150 puts I bought Friday are off to a good start, as are my puts on oil.

Still on the fence about buying calls on long T-bonds, although my gut says bonds are headed up and long-term rates down. If the US futures pull back to retest 110, I'd be tempted to go long looking for a retest of 114.

AH should be interesting today. ES will probably get pumped for another 5 to 10 points and the morning crew will deflate it with some help of bad news, bad earnings ect.

The guy with most experience with AH is Voletne. I have seen him put some good calls AH and he is on the target most of the time. I wonder what he sees for ES in AH. My prediction had already been stated. Up 5 to 10 then deflation in the morning and then 10:30 and ..... we will see. :D

I have a short that triggered around 1527.25 before the little tick party at close. Figures, after being in buy position for near 5 hours : |

That's my position for now.

Interested to see what volente will be up to.
