Too me it matters very little what trades the others are posting, I know myself, I know my system, and as far as I am concerned everyone else is just noise and should be ignored in order to not influence my trading.

eventually it comes to that. I could care less what others are doing, but ET is just a mass of sensors on the world, every now and then a interesting article or link or point is made. Thats why I'm still here, otherwise I wouldn't.

I agree, there is some value but it is not in the posted trades.

it`s more of a matter of it being a legitimate trade at all......i just don`t see the point in all the double talk & pointless rants jamming up a good thread while serious traders trade & newbies like princessa, saliva & saxon try & learn from us....it`s more of a distraction than anything else.
spec, you do post decent info from time to time so don`t take it personally but i just don`t see the point in it at all......there is no shame in sticking your neck out & being wrong on a call.....seems like your always on the fence not wanting to be wrong.
good trading....:)

Thank you for making a valid point. I like ES journal for its seriousness and high level of professional attitude. Cripted messages, double speak and clowning are all good and fun, but for newbs it is often times hard to distinguish which call is genuine and which is just jerking others around. personally, I try to follow my own brain but I will admit sometimes I hesitate when one of you guys are on the other side of the fence.

I haven't had a loosing trade in ES since FOMC day because, every trade since then was initiated on the short side. That in itself is a powerful indicator of what is going on in the market.

I've pointed out this before, but it will take a few years to learn this, if you havent already.

Risk increases exponentially when you buy the weekly ATR high or sell the weekly ATR low. Especially if your position trading.

Risk profiles get even worse if your sell the weekly ATR low on a upward monthly vector, thats why you don't see me selling it here..

how could you ?

Half the trades you post are irony and the other half contradict the first half.
