That depends on how large your position is, but a 6-point stop is little too big for me to stomach. Your R/R should be at least 2:1, which means that your profit should be 12 points in this case. At any rate, you shouldn't use arbitrary stops based on points but instead use major "technical" turning points (eg. S/R, trendlines, SMA(50), etc).Quote from satchel:
