This rate cut is about the housing market not the stock market and he is not going to let the US deflate, maybe get long gold or the euro. I believe he did the correct thing. Greenspan should have a gag order. Flame away!

Let's not forget the Greenspan's infamous "surprise, surprise!" rate cut that only left the market imploding afterward. Once the dust clears, that is, if the market is in dire straits as the Fed is implying, it's the bulls who will get raped and some more.

really killed..... I havent been stopped out of pxp.. just taking some heat ATM. It is 1 unit of risk. I just made +10 units off the ES trade.... you do the math.
 
frugi - that is an incredible fill! (everyone will be saying, "why didn't i do that?" )

saliva - I am firmly on the sidelines today. My order to buy SDS remains unfilled. I need ES at about 1570 to get filled.

apex - you can't make 20 pts on ES and expect that other garbage to go down, can you? :)

(edit - cross posted with your above comment. Obviously some positive correlation with ES )

Yeah, you just nailed the biggest, fastest and scariest move I've ever seen in the markets, up or down.

That one's gonna bankrupt some shorts ... no more critiques from moi! :)
