just started playing WoW after a long hiatus, no I think Apex is an excellent trader. He has found a lot of the inefficiencies with ES, and it shows.

playing video games is very similar to trading. These artificial worlds that get constructed, the developers try to iron out inefficiencies in the game.
same thing with trading, the goal is to find a inefficiency in the price patterns and those inefficiencies are a resut of human psychology and frailties. Find one and exploit it to its fullest.

okay, i'll stick my neck out and join in the fray, possibly pissing people off along the way.
apex is amazing, pure and simple. he's an awesome trader. if that makes me a cheerleader, well then rah, rah, rah!
i gotta think that some folks here pissing about the cheerleading are just jealous that these folks aren't hero-worshipping them.
all that aside, you will use apex's calls for your own purposes. i seriously doubt anyone blindly puts on trades following apex's calls or opinions. but it's one more opinion to put in your overall view, and a darn good one at that.
there has only been one time when i hesistated putting on a trade because i didn't want to be on the opposite side of apex. turns out my trade would have been the good one. oh well. my bad. learned my lesson and it didn't happen again.

all this apex-hating, i seriously don't understand. but i guess anyone with a certain amount of fame or notoriety will have haters....

I remember that thread.. optioncoach was a great teacher, I learned a lot. I also almost wiped out one of my accounts on selling one of those OTM vertical SPX spreads..... that is how I learned to take a loss asap... those babies can get real nasty. I vowed to never sell premium again..
northern rock story is very worriesome, the reaction would have been a lot worse if it wasnt for the FED meeting. After the meeting, this issue can arise again.

I do not want to prolong the agony, but I have to disagree with this. Guru is a loaded word in trading, lots of fake "guru" in religion and trading, do I even need one? I think mentor is a better word. This implies a relationship that may only exist in your mind. Is Apex my mentor or anyone else who posts here, hardly.
Can one learn here or anywhere yes. If one of his calls or charts lines up with mine great, but if you are trading off someone else's info without your own system you are in trouble.

nobody's hating on apex82 princessa, least of all your boyfriend.
we just think it's better for people to actually, well, learn how to think (and trade) for themselves.
after all, there's nothing new under the sun, everything is constantly repeating patterns, over and over again.

Why are you Short bias? ... do you see a downtrend someplace?

I also have a large position long in nat gas. I know this is the ES journal but there are also other good makets to trade at times.
Completed a 5 wave move with a climatic wedge bottom that I have shown many times before. Overlapped with daily structure and massive support zone. Going into hurricane season... seems like a nice play. Needs to bust out out of that downtrend line and then retest the support after ..... completing an inverse H&S which should wipe out the shorts that have been cleaning up the past few years. This is a position trade so my entries and stops have been executed on 15minute timeframe and held for daily profit targets.
My charts look similar to mbusch because he pm'd me and I taught him a few things. He also analyzed my charts a lot.... I havent seen his charts but I am guessing that is the reason they are similar.
