Friday it coulldn't even get to this level, without pulling its nails, out, so some would construe these levels are value zones, and as US session nears work its way back up.

they might ignore the greenie meenie. European markets are expected to come under pressure from the northern rock fiassco. So this price action could be just people frontrunning european open, the sellers are probably expecting to buy it under 90. Not sure if they will get it.

sorry to the rest but it looks like apex is the go to "guru" on this board and the one most want to see. be careful apex being a guru is a lot of responsibility and can backfire

why be sorry. I wish I could ignore the nauseating cheerleading posts. I have nothing against him, but its very immature the way the atmosphere changes.

If someone complemented me, it would nauseate me in terms of trading.

edit: look at the last chart he posted, and the indicators, and lines and circles, they are virtually identical to a series of charts Mbusch posted.

ok mbusch is the guru. are maybe they can be co guru's?how about we give a trophy to the best paper trader on this board?

shrug, this is getting immature, I'm playing world of warcraft, and just bought quarters,..

has anyone been able to get their posts deleted, and account deleted on here?

I want my account and all my posts deleted .....if any mod deletes my acct and posts, I will send them a cashiers check for the monthly sponsorship fee here..

You are missing the point. I post my rules, my trades, my charts and give explanations on what I anticipate will happen. Does it really benefit you ? The problem in trading is what works for one does not work for another due to experience, captial, discipline, different psychological makeup etc. Take my rule of 10 for example, I have shared it on this board openly, yet many still don't understand it.
I now at least understand the rule of 10, at least I think :)
I watched it for a few days (which is not enough statistically speaking) but I couldn't get comfortable with it. And that's ok with me, it works for you and that's what counts.

Am I the only one who notices that he is the only person to make consistently live and correct calls accompanied by an explanation and usually a chart? Anyone else notice that those few who detract from him have never even attempted to do the same?
I think 99% of people on this journal have great respect for Apex (and of course many other posters as well)

As for me making live calls, I've tended to move away from it (unless someone really annoys me/calls me out on it... I might for a day like islands/blackguard did a few weeks ago). I'd rather make more strategic calls as imo calls are of much more value to take into consideration (or not) and then formulate your own opinion. You then decide how to trade with what kind of stops and profit targets that are comfortable for you.

Here are a few examples of some recent calls

(from Friday - retail sales)
http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=1604542#post1604542

(from 9/4 - Sep Futures numbers - good r/r place to short market)
http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=1592052#post1592052

(from 9/7 - Sep Futures numbers - good r/r place to get long)
http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=1595954#post1595954

So might as well update my opinion, I still hold this same opinion from my 9/4 post as we have not closed above 1500 on Sep ES. We now need to close above 1510 on the Dec ES in order for me to change my opinion. On the other side is 1460 on the Dec ES (I could have had more explanation on my 9/7 post) but that zone is weaker and more likely to be taken out in imo.

I'll continue to play these zones and take high r/r trades until we get confirmation although this is going to be a tough week with Fed and options expiration. I'm still running the possibilities of how I think the market is going to trade based on Fed actions... and then decide if r/r is worth it as well

On a side note, enjoyed my weekend fully and pretty much ignored looking at the markets, I feel refreshed (every day in my journal this week I wrote either 'feeling tired' or 'not feeling great') which is weak since I'm not even 30 yet. Good week of trading everyone

...another guy who i find extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful... is optioncoach...... he began a great thread about spx vertical spreads.... unfortunately... it was sort of taken over by a few guys with big egos......
.....just like others on this thread... he posts will visuals.... and does not mind answering posted questions....
.... :0)

LMAO, yeah, can't we all just get along?

For anyone who wants to learn on their on, for themselves, Anekdoten is running a great thread with a classical trading methodology, which he seems to be dedicated to supporting (both the thread and the method), so you might want to spend some time over there, I know some folks from here already have migrated.

B1S2 runs a great thread, and what he has said seems to resonate best for me, so I'll follow his lead ... in my own inimitable way. :)

Even though he doesn't post here anymore Osorico is the scalpmeister extraordinare, and has certainly given some valuable info for the folks trading smaller accounts.

For the folks who want to place mice to Apex's Pied Piper act, that's all well and good, just remember, he likes to counter-trend trade, catching the tops and bottoms for spectacular moves ... when the trade works.

Good trading,

JJ

My charts resemble those posted by Buy1Sell2, doesn't make us 1 person, just a coincidence.

You know Spec, it's nice when people post market based information and let personal issues out. Let's not start having ego tournaments please.
