the reason most can't be helped is the system has to be theirs..otherwise they admit failure and some one else is smarter than they....not gonna happen until one gets hammered to the last dollar and they get desperate for help..then they might pay attention to someone else whom they believe is a good trader...out of desperation only...they come on forums looking for handout freebies earned by the sweat of another's brow...then the occasional honest one shows up and he gets verbally slaughtered....i can honestly say i have never seen anything on years of forums that helped me develop my system....not one single thing....not one.....Anek has a very good journal going now that could help those that are searching, newbies and others...I think he is honest...and is a good trader, it appears....not even asking for a "thank you"....AHG journal is very good...

No offence mate but you come of as a very creepy individual. I am not one to get annoyed at posts on a forum but for you contribute nothing yet come on here all the time.

What your missing is that we enjoyed APEX style of trading, he made great calls which leads to some form of understanding on how a successful trader trades. Obviously we are not trying to copy his style of trading but he explained how he did things.

You on the other hand make yourself to be some sort of GURU trader dishing out worthless paragraph after paragraph of useless incoherent drivel. Seriously where did you learn to write?i
I find it difficult even to understand what you are trying to say most of the time.

Making a call is what counts, any idiot can come on here and tell us the rules to trading and how a simple system works, it is all too easy in hindsight but far different when under intense emotions as well as fear and greed.

I don't trade the same style as Apex even though i do like to counter-trade but i miss his contribution to the board because he made real calls and put his ass on the line with those calls.

Whereas you have made no calls, talk in circles and stroke your ego with nonsensical bullshit.

Answer me seriously why you come to these forums or this journal? Are you really trying to help anyone or just trying to piss other members off.

My motto is, if your a good trader and your dishing out advice then make a god damn call - put up or shut-up!

Why should i as a newbie trader accept how great a trader you think you are with your simple system when you never make a call?

You guys are taking everything out of context, we are not cheerleading for Apex but the guy helped me when i was starting out and im sure he helped others too.

This has been a great thread, don't mess with it brotherben. Posters come and go more often on this thread than others because they realize they have shared all and are too busy trading. They are usually back with a profound insight or two.

Apex shared it and bared it all and he is reaping what he sowed. Let him and others be. This is one of two great threads on et. Haters will be ignored.

Volente and Spectre, I will completely agree with both of you that a trader looking to just follow along or looking for simple, easy answers will fail in the end. Furthermore I appreciate you guys trying to point out this potential pitfall to new traders.

I will, however, try to be more clear. When someone, Apex, Mbusch, or anyone else posts a real time trade with stop, profit target, and the actual reasoning/logic behind the trade then an aspiring trader can do one of two things. They can just jump on board and hope that trader is good enough to ride their coattails, or they can compare/contrast that trade and its reasoning with their own analysis and developing methodology to help improve their own performance.

Additionally, useful statements like "Dropping all indicators from my chart and trading purely price with a few simple rules using support and resistance" do not go unnoticed or unappreciated. More details of what you do or how you do it will always be welcome.

My point is that any successful trader consistently posting their real time detailed trades will significantly benefit those who are seriously trying to become independent traders.

romik and volente , give me a system please........

Here is one specifically for you, GFY YFC! Once you decipher, you'll be on your way to the ultimate riches, tata for now.

Ego - is a living organism within us that needs to be fed, just like our gut, but different ingridients are required.

The problem is human nature is naturally lazy. People fail at this game because they do not have confidence in theirself. If you see a guy posting trades and they turn out to be right most of the time, do you think they are going to just analyze why, my guess is they will just straight follow the trades and take the easy way out. Look at all the pay site that call trades, if it was the answer then why take the time to learn on your own ? People fail in trading because THEY ARE LAZY AND DO NOT WANT TO PUT IN THE TIME AND WANT THE EASY FAST MONEY. All I can tell you is it takes years to master this and in the end the success only comes from within. I really do not watch others calls on here because quite frankly, I don't give a $hit what the other trader is doing. If someone is on here who post winning trades 75% of the time, by watching them you are going to second guess your trade that you have on and basically mind!uck your own confidence in yourself. I can honestly tell you my trading methodology was 100% from trial and error and I did not adopt any of it from any other trader. As a matter of fact I have deleted a lot of rules that came from other profitable traders because they did not work the same for me. I have always been open about helping others and am truly a very altruistic person. But at the same time I am a realist and the fact remains that 5% of the winners make their money from the other 95% in this business.

Mins,

Unfortunately brotherben (Porgie) just keeps coming back under a new user name every time he gets banned.

Obviously this thread gets a lot of hits and I think it bothers Porgie that he is not the focus and that nobody cares for his "insight". If you do a search you will see that he was pushed into making a few live calls which had very bad results, as expected.

Ignore is your best bet until the moderator finally bans him again.
