never forget h&s can fail...failed patterns are usually better point producing entries than actual patterns...

If anyone reading this thread misses Apex82's posts, as I do, please PM him and let him know. He told me he may start posting again in a month or two, but if you appreciate his contributions I think you should let him know.
Am I the only one who notices that he is the only person to make consistently live and correct calls accompanied by an explanation and usually a chart? Anyone else notice that those few who detract from him have never even attempted to do the same?

I think your spot on my friend, APEX has made exceptional calls time and time again. Anyone who says otherwise is obviously very envious of his trading abilities.
I never seen one call from the so called experts who have been preaching on here time and time again, if they were so great then why no calls with blotter attached
Its easy talking a good game but its another thing actually playing one.
Remember though every trader has a different trading style, life style, modality, family life, pressures, etc. I personally don't like to post entry and exit trades as I do not always trade es or trade it purely directionally. This thread should avoid the pissing matches of other threads or my P & L is larger than your P & L; very counterproductive to the life of any thread. I especially appreciate a chart every now and then as a picture is worth 1,000 words to me. Good trading all.
apex is a pretty good trader, I enjoyed his posts, but the atmosphere in the room was highschoolish when he posted. Not that his posts were 'highschoolish'.
I like the professional calm atmosphere now. Being humble is a key part of any traders arsenal. Except when you make that first 100 million, then you can have something to gloat about.

Just curious, where does the figure of 100 million come from. IMO if you can make a living off of this, you have my respect. Its not about how much you make, but being comfortable and happy with the lifestyle you can lead with that money. I'm sure I've met people who make 30k a year that have more satisfying lives than people who make millions.
Anyway, 100 million from trading is an absolutely ridiculous amount of money. I think the real accomplishment of that would be this - I would think that the trading strategy that makes you the first million or so would be harder to employ with more capital (liquidity issues), so you would have to master a number of different trading strategies to work your way up to that amount. Anyway, props to all that make a consistent living off this, and a real hand goes to the people that can hit it big (Apex for one).

your right, I think beach bums have the best quality of life. The 100 million is just a reference point, quality of life plateau's out in modern society till you hit that mark.
my friend has a private jet that he takes down to the islands, whenever he sees fit, within a moments notice he can be snorkeling, bypassing local island custom officials.
Only truly independent thinkers survive in this game in the long run. What other's actions are should have no influence over your trading.
