There are soo many lessons learned over the years, its extremely quite hard for anyone new trying to make it in the market discretionary wise.
Only strict rules will keep you alive, from the MM's tossing you around like a bunch of grizzly bears that happen upon coed campers in sleeping bags.
There is a underlying basis to rules and why they should be followed. You have to learn to follow the market whichever direction it takes you, and its harder then it sounds.
i`m actually with you on this one.....reminiscent on the 53 buy in AH this week you caught after trading 63/64 in RTH.....we traded back up to 62 before we opened next day( sept contract).....looking for a move back over 1500.
fwiw,this was also a coast to coast move on the 15 min wedge......15 min IVB broken was a clear sell signal & i rarely trade against it.....& took small loss doing so.
