Speaking of economic numbers, I guess the market completely ignored, or rather conveniently forgot about, the 12,000 ex-employees CFC kicked out last Friday, plus many more from its subsidiaries and subcontractors that we won't likely hear about in the media.

This is why I don't use fundamentals in my analysis. The market will "completely remember" next time it starts nose-diving, and not before then hehe.

I use fundamentals but, its important to see how the market reacts to news, if it ignores news, then it has strong intentions, lets see if it will ignore the 8:30 am news ou tomm.. it will give clues.. to future course, but the true news is FED.

Being laid off is not always a bad thing. I remember when I got laid off from Nortel -- it was fricking fantastic. Moved to whistler and snowboarded. I tore my knee but that's besides the point.

Throw in the severance pay and employment insurance -- and it is one sweeet deal.

by macro markets, you mean cash indexes -- spx, etc. -- on larger time frame -- daily, weekly?

it can get mentally fatiguing, its akin during a 8hr period to driving long distances, secondary to the focus required. But only 1 derivative can be tracked intimately in terms of tic action.

I'm looking at a cockpit type seat that is reclined back inside a wire mesh ball, with flat panels afixed to the wires fixed together. Back problems become an issue after sittting for too long.

I know the various markets, like the back of my hand, I knew the macro markets would retrace, as I posted that the macro trade would be replaced.

usdjpy down

towards the close, and this precisely what happened. I try to jawbone the markets for public consumption.
