Please don't! Your last 5 bullish calls EACH ended in a selloff....

Although what is the chance of being wrong 6 times in a row???

Bush to today offer help to borrowers to avoid default-WSJ - At 11 a.m. today, President Bush will speak in the Rose Garden to address the subprime mortgage crisis and outline a number of policy changes and suggestions to aid borrowers to avoid default, reports the Wall Street Journal.
Bush to allow more people to refinance mortgages through gov't-Washington Post - In an attempt to ease the mortgage crisis, President Bush and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson will propose changes to the Federal Housing Administration, or FHA, mortgage insurance program that would allow more people to refinance with FHA insurance if they fall behind on adjustable-rate mortgages. As a result of the change, about 80,000 additional households will receive FHA refinancing in 2008, according to an administration official. Quote from volente_00:

Or are the futures pricing in good news tomorrow and we sell off on the news ?

mm ya, that would be my guess.

on the other hand, it is a friday....

long weekend no less....

Quote from saxon22:

Perhaps but a much greater probability is that the news is going to move the stocks higher. It can only be good news since until today Bush did not care and was not planning to do anything. I think it is more than certain that he is going to bail those who count which are his folk (rich and powerful) and also he is going to throw a bone to regular folk, after all elections are near. So both sides will get happy and markets will roar. Watch my words tomorrow.

ok, i'm gonna vote with saxon on this one.

just cuz it's friday and a long weekend.

lately, fridays are happy days....

What "the Fed" does has always been critical to traders and their decision making process ...

Less than a week back George, and everyone is hitting the ignore button.

Too bad, they won't be able to see the good stuff because it's surrounded by so much sh*t.

Jimmy Jam

not hittin it yet and not going to.

i'll exercise my self-discipline and ignore him without the button.

if it gets too bad, we should all complain and get him kicked out again....
