I don't follow Spec. My bull-stop was hit on my last, but I use day-orders not GTC. I got lucky with that, but didn't hold it long enough. In any event, no attempt at diversion here.
 
my feeling is that the daily chart of RSI, ema14 still shows lower low matching up with lower low in price.....
this implies a possible continuation to the downside..... could be wrong ....
 
go figure. I still show the uptrend from this morning's (overnight) low intact, with higher lows and slightly higher highs, although you can see the fake downside breakout.

T and VZ both paid their dividend today. Total is over $3bil cash! Think that affects the market? Holders of those stocks in index funds may buy futures at the close.

The market is positioned for the long side now. The VIX will come down hard. In the meantime, they are going to flush out as many as they can and when they are done we will turn up nicely.
