Sorry, but letting a 14 point gain turn into a loser just doesn't make sense to me. Nothing wrong with trying to hit the long ball, but damn.

That is exactly WHY I scale out.

Stopped out of my shorts at 1458.25

Break-even on add-on.

May look to re-enter short.

No wonder most "traders" lose money.

Continue please.......at what point does this have an effect on the weekly or monthly chart trend?

I'd mentioned on another forum that 24.98 may be the top in the VIX on this move. I went short vol this morning.

Phantom was a great read. Thanks king. peace.

When I first started trading futures I thought, ok its monday I am going to take $250 or $500 out of the market today. I know that sounds arrogant and stupid as hell, but don't all newbies approach the market as their personal slot machine. Needless to say that I learned the hard way the markets don't give a crap what you think or what your position is. Once I improved risk management my trading was much better, more profitable and most of all less stressfull. Nothing like going to bed deep underwater, no thanks!!

similar to the 50 day MA test on the bull run up, which were numerous..if this is a bear run... the 50 day MA gets tested and rebuffed.

looking at everything, the bull is still alive, till those longterm MA's cross.

Don't like price action. Closed out this trade at break-even. Now flat, until I figure out what this market wants to do.
