Based on my research, buying into morning weakness in small size is generally a smart move, provided one doesn't start too soon. In bull markets like this one, it is very reliable.

Buying into AFTERNOON weakness is a different story. It is easy to get trapped in strong afternoon moves, which can easily become parabolic.

personally I am finding this mkt impossible to trade. Missing short entries and by the time I am ready to short market has turned +.

shorted today at 27.25
out at 18.25 ...
tried to close and opened 2 more by mistake.... lost my gains.... genius at work folks......

Precisely. That is one of the reasons I no longer place any orders after 2 pm. That late into trading session,there is not enough room for the market to fully bounce.

You have been getting some very good advice here on this thread. Even when you manage to get out with a profit, this is still a sub-optimal way to trade because you are taking a large undefined amount of risk for a very small return. This was pointed out to you several months ago on your other thread as well.
