I pulled my order at 1525.25... was looking for it to get hit soon after I posted to get a few points higher by open. If it got hit now I'd probably get stopped out in the first 5 minutes of trading just on volatility if not sooner.

Going long the 30 yr notes on a breakout of 108 15/32 stop will be placed 1 tick below the low. Targets are a long long ways up.
Please let us know when you see confirmation on this. (Packing to leave.)

"He knew the difference between being right and doing right, and he avoided emotionalism. Remember, you don't get any money just because you know why the market is going up or down. You only get money if your plan has positioned you to capitalize on the market's movement, regardless of whether or not you know why the market is up or down on a particular day."

Are you trying to be right, or make money?

Trending day is a high probability today...

Yeah, but which way? :)

I mean there is a huge downgap for the open, it could trend back and fill....

For those who remember back in late February when the "carry trade"--sell Yen, buy higher yielding currency--collapsed, thus helping drag down the stock market as overleveraged hedge funds panicked, check out the Yen's move back.

My position: Long yen; VERY careful about buying any stocks.

Good luck to all.

EDIT: For those who want to see the chart, go to INSTRUMENTS and scroll down do USD/JPY.

Apex, is this that bond trade you were talking about a week or so ago with the huge risk/reward ratio? Your ability to call price action is uncanny and downright scary at times:eek:
