1) Meaningless. Photoshop and the like make it too easy to edit. If you think an OP is dubious, how would posting easily edited "proof" change that?
2) The only people that need proof are lenders, the IRS, and personal contacts. Why would anyone provide potentially traceable data in a public, anonymous, internet site? And what value is it to the OP? So anonymous personas believe? If OP is a vendor, or otherwise "recruiting" clients then a link to a third-party possibly private and/or secure site would be acceptable.
3) Participants in a particular thread, after a short amount of time, can determine for themselves which anonymous persona is credible and which is not. Any participant can "prove" to him/her self the credibility of any persona by use of the ignore function or not.
