Did you always use price levels Osorico?

Depending on how you look at it, the trends across the board for the financials are UP, so until a break happens (below say, 1514 for the ES or 13495 for the YM - last areas where support came in), I'd have to continue to play the upside.

Wouldn't trading what you see mean looking for more upside action?

JJ

You are confusing price levels with bias. That's not how or why I use price levels. These are INTRADAY levels which when trading in the dominant intraday direction at the time, can be used for profit taking, or re-eval of position for continuation, stall, or reversal. On any given day there are 2 to 4 dominant direction changes.

Short 121.50 in Globex at 08:59 EDT
Buy Stop 124.00 (2.5 pts)
Initial PT 1506 (+15.5 pts!)
[To hell with the rule of 10 today!]

If 1515.00 prints, I will lower buy stop to breakeven.

Let the games begin!

Going with a modified version of the Oscar trade aswell?:D

These ES futures are going wild. Are you still short Apex?

ya.. quite a rally eh. Option expiry and the monday following are great days to take off. The odds of a sustained moved today are slim to none.

I am still short from 1521.25-1521.50 stop is at 1523.75

If stopped out will watch the 1527-1528.50 area very closely

Actually, my thinking was "what would Apex do?" Entry is two ticks below his 1522.00-1523.50 resistance zone, and stop is two ticks above it. PT is based on resistance at 1503.50 (the 5/14 LOD).

Of course, I might not be reading Apex's mind correctly this morning, but I'm giving it my best shot.

Bottom line: If this trade goes bad, I will not blame Oscar. :)

EDIT:

I see Apex just posted that he's still short. I guess I did read his mind fairly well after all! :D
