Anyone know of the M/E ratios in use by some of the top tier fund managers? It's all they cared about. Brian hunter knows all about that at least he does now.

If you don't mind answering, I would like to know if you (meaning anyone who is a regular poster to this thread) are:

1) an independent trader working from home
2) an independent trader working at a prop shop
3) an independent trader who is also managing accounts
3) working as a trader at a firm

Just curious as to everyone's background, thanks for the responses!

#1

#4 in a previous life. Actually OTC trading desk.

Long ES @ 1513.25
Stop @ 1511.25 (2pts)
PT1 1515.50 (+2.25pts)
PT2 1522 (+10.75pts)

If 1516.50 prints, will move stop to break-even.
Sell stop raised to 1515.00. Will be trailing stop up from here.

I've drawn a trendline through the 9:55 and 10:50 EDT lows, and using that as a guide for my trailing stop.

Sell limit order in at 1521.25 (+10pts).

Obviously, that "second" 3) was supposed to be a 4) :p

Thanks for the responses - anyone else care to answer?

#1, eventually would like to be #1 & #3.

I've never understood the fascination with managing opm. It's a big headache. Answer to only one boss, MR MARKET.

amen! of course a big part of the fascination is 2 + 20 :D Trading my own account from home is going to be very difficult but the ultimate goal is to be self sufficient, answer to noone and be totally mobile.
