spot is only up 9.5 points .. most positive days spot is up 15.00 that puts us at 1522.00

Yeah. Cash SPX, RUT, and NAZ unmistakenly poor performance with such a move.

in case noone else noticed, if my clocks are correct you made your post before the 12 print, and the low print after that was 1511.75 before heading higher.

How do you do that??

great job!

Dont know what Apex used, but if you look at your chart the ES had a 0.618 Fib retrace to the tick as well as the NQ.
ES, NQ ER fell into support zones.

This makes for a great trade on a tight stop when the trend is clearly long.

FWIW, I have noticed that if the Compx is up a lesser % then the Dow that you will tend to have a drop at some point especially when the AD Line is very bullish.

Like today, the Dow was up close to 100 but the Compx was only up 13-14.

What gets most is when they short a mega bull day when the compx is up a higher % then the dow and the ad volume is around 80% buying.

Rickey Cheung has done an exhaustive study of the interelationships between the ES and NQ, and developed trading strategies using them.

He has also designed a series of (very expensive) trading seminars around his findings, and while I most definitely do not recommend taking the seminars, reading his book helped me to understand the process (and trials and tribulations) he went through to develop his trading system(s), how to develop tools which use indices as leading indicators to the intra-day price action of the ES, his definition of edge, and how he uses it to keep his positive mental focus.

Good trading,
