We are in two different places. I know where you are because I spent years there, toing and froing, firstly with profitability and then with over funded accounts once I was consistently on the right side of the ledger, etc etc

Yeah I know F9, you aren't the first to mention this, and if/when I get to the point where working for a living is no longer the trade de rigeur I'll be willing to explore that arena (and I do believe that you and a few other guys can pull it off consistently).

But for me, for right now, it's all about risk management, conservative increse of my position size over time, and getting away from the night job.

Good trading,

JJ

The best of luck to you JJ, I am certain that it will all come together for you.
' Think big and take baby steps' has served me well.

One observation I have, which I would share if I may, is that you all seem to talk in terms of handles (points) and yet the market moves in tics. Many times an epic battle will rage over one single tic, with 1,000's of contracts being thrown into the fray, before the price can advance/retreat.

As I say, just an observation.

My style of trading is not really in line with the core of this thread and is most probably disruptive.
And so I will wish you all the very best in trading and disappear back into the ether from whence I came.

going to be interesting to see how we play out here.....# 3 is usually the exhaustion gap.......i`d really like to see 99/1500 first if we do decide to close it here.

The V bottom was clearly smart money anticipating bullish reports. We have patterns that produce good odds for a trend day today.

Where, down?

Short @ 1490.75, PS @ 1490.75

My thoughts exactly.

We'll see how it plays out.
