That's fer sure.

This trade was stopped-out for 2pts ... but I don't see price action dropping that hard (do you?)

JJ

Doesn't matter hard move or not. Stepping in front of a bus is not my gig. 3 scenarios doing that:
* You're right. Great entry!
* Your wrong. The bus rolls on.
* Your stuck. Consolidation at a new level.

66% chance of being not being right. Needs very strong technical, news, etc reason to offset.

Or you catch the bottom and ride a nice low risk high reward winner with the higher degree trend.... I scalped long from 1480.75.. just now taking profits at 1483.75. I let the panic come right to my order.

That would qualify as being right. :)
I wouldn't say its low risk high reward though.

About that 66% change of not being right - you're wrong.

There actually is a 66% chance of being correct. The market trends 33% of the time, and trades back-and-forth in a range for the other 66%.

Hello

Long @ 1483, PS @ 1481.50, think the bottom might be in on this one.

ok watch this... check the time a bottom most likely been put in here at 1481 get a rally up to 1484.50-1486 and then another retest of lows.

Crystal ball looks nice today....check the time stamp on the previous post.. now have contact with the zone where lows can be retested... Any move above 1486 will negate this. Still waiting for 1485.25 to add on to my short

Whatever. But to correct you, its more 80% rangebound, 20% trending. And that is based on longer time frames. I think you are trading off intra-day.

Good luck

The truth?

Trading the ES e-mini intra-day is never low risk / high reward, at best it's a high risk / high reward game.

B1S2 recognizes this and knows that he has much better odds with his POSITION TRADING, and for anyone reading the thread, if you can't afford to do what he does using the ES, look at the ETF's, or get together a grubstake and start hitting the NOTES (and I don't mean singing).

You will find that your reward will be far greater in the long run.

This stuff ... it's just tiddlywinks. :)

Ya think?

Show me the stats (actually it wouldn't matter, I'd just say they were wrong too).
