Yes and yours say quite a bit my friend.

The ISSUE is your THEORY , NOT my actions my friend

the question is ; Are you going to follow up on your words?

Quote from wave:

I am not here to show or prove anything. All I am trying to say is that your trading and pockets will benefit if you follow the advice and clues laid out by Buy1Sell2. I trade the same way, his clues and advice shed some light where there was darkness.

But human nature will prevent most from seeing and believing in it.

wave - I for one am enjoying your posts, a lot of fundamental simple truth in what your saying.

One basic premise of my trading is...."human nature never changes"

One need look no further than this journal to see a small yet poignant illustration of this basic axiom proven every day. A few of us see it clearly, a few resist the idea, and the majority continue on day after day unable to understand or recognize the simple truth.

Here's one ....learn from your mistakes and adapt your beliefs and behavior. In other words, strive to trade smarter and stop making the same mistakes day after day....

Don't worry about it Lance.

Everyone comes to a forum for different reasons.

I come for a little trading company, to hone my skills on an intra-day basis and inadvertently have joined the position trading team, I love how my postion trade charts show me the correct move to make, in a simple yet elegant way (got a story for you about that one, bro).

You come here for similar reasons, I'm sure, and your skills with the stock and bond derivatives has not gone unnoticed.

Wave wants to talk philosophy and sip chia tea. Hey, if that's his wont, he should by all means be allowed to do so. Maybe he just likes to talk n' chill. Ain't noth'in wrong with that.

It's all good.

So here's my story.

This roomate I had about seven years ago (this is before I even had a clue about derivatives) was really into trading, and he used a Pivot Trading program to trade, oh all sorts of instruements (corn, bonds, financials, oil).

Now, this guy worked as a waiter for chi-chi parties on the Upper East Side during the evening and weekend hours, monitoring his positions during the day.

He did this for oh, about a year and a half, if memory serves correctly.

During that time, he must've blown up pretty big (um, that's slang for made a sh*tload of cash BTW, not blowing your account), because all of sudden, he's got all kinda females around 'em, he's taking trips (during which he wouldn't monitor his positions and get margin calls, but it didn't matter, because at that point he had so much loot anyway) paying for himself, a couple of ladies and his buddy (an artsy euro-trash type).

Long story short, he ends up moving into a nice big place into a house with his cute european girlfriend and out of "the hood".

All from his position trading.

Now I see how, and now I see why.

Good trading,

JJ

JimmyJam-

You are one in harmony with yourself and the world. It takes hard work to be as you are in daily life. You have achieved a higher self. Congrats.

All the best.

Agree 100% J.J. you seem to be the wiser of all of them and probably the most experienced. Everyone has a little bit to contribute here and very few have proven beyond any doubt that they can trade this markets; B1S2, Apex,SpoozTop, yourself and Romik in that order are all good traders in their own game.

The others are just followers and wishfull thinkers.

Nice story JJ.

Some of us already have that before getting into trading, fast cars, nice houses, including the cute european girlfriend ( looking for a cute american one now :D )

:D :D

Man, its the perfect head and shoulders in the ES.

This thing is bearish until it can close above 1481.25.

We have the upthrust to 84.50 followed by an immediate bearish engulfing, followed by resistance appearing back at 81.25 following the upthrust.

Quote from Spooz Top:

basically we traded outside yesterdays range of lo @ 75/hi @ 82.50.......today went lo @ 73.50 & hi @ 84.50.......kind of a sneaky outside day & like you mentioned it`s not that obvious on the charts but nevertheless it still constitutes an "outside day" & one of my signals for a reversal or pullback.i was waiting to sell a bit more up there but never had the setup to add significantly the way i wanted.

just wanted to say that i admire your patience to stay with your conviction & see your trades through.i hope you keep posting regularly & feel that you are a great asset to this site & to aspiring traders seeking a longer term approach.
:)

I understand now why we are seeing different things. I believe you are looking at the RTH chart and I am looking at the continuous. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks for the nice words by the way--it means quite a bit to me.
