I was a programmer at the largest swiss investment bank and am very familiar with program trading and algorithmic trading. Again, i don't see this being feasible for the typical retail trader account. I am currently implementing a high velocity trading system in C on linux. The main prerequisite to trade it properly is a sizable account such as those traded by the prop computers in the big funds and banks.

Bastards stopped me out on the Fuckn low tick into the close. They got 3/4 of my contracts but not all of em. Working the rest at a stop of 1428.75

Look at the sell off in the russel... very odd price action today. The divergence was was crazy.

Nq is looking good for a short. I will most likely be on the short side with it tomorrow.

Here is a sample of the HVT system potential losses and wins. With deep enough pockets, the system wins often and small loss when it doesn't.
