Those who can't trade teach others to trade....priceless! Kinda like the teaching pros you see at the driving range....most can't break 80! 
I'm not an Oscar cheerleader, I just find him fun to watch. Never traded any of his calls, like I said just fun to see what happens and I find him entertaining. It was that much more interesting that he had the opposite call of apex. Good thing I went the opposite way today! I'm done for the day, tired of watching paint dry this afternoon.

On a more serious note.
They do fill a niche in terms of serving the needs of traders who have a lot of capital (relatively easy to do when you live in a capitalist society) but don't have the skills required to trade effectively and produce a positive result over time. They give all the nuts and bolts of basic trading, and do a lot of hand-holding as well.
Something that traders who actually trade for a living simply cannot (even assuming they would be willing) do for a large group of people (read: strangers).
The only beef I really have with them is they tend to waffle and mish-mash and double-talk a lot, I just can't stand the lying.
If they would just come clean about the whole setup, I wouldn't have a problem with them, but then again, they probably wouldn't have many followers either (but who knows).
