But at least I've developed the knowledge base along the way to do so ... that's something you're never going to get by having someone spoon-feed you techniques.![]()
Bye now,

Sunday morning ramblings by Osorico. Not an endorsement or demur of anyone.
A few years ago when I was still trading equities I subscribed to a couple of daily/weekly services.
I cancelled one of them after a short time; it produced many good calls, but it was blackbox and I learned nothing. The other I stuck with, because I was able to learn the why of the calls.
Neet obviously believes he is learning. JJ obviously believes he is learning. Neither method of learning is right or wrong. Although a particular method will likely be more useful for any particular individual.
As for this making calls bs, all I can think is WTF! Making calls (or worse, a contest!) in an anonymous forum is a waste of time and mental energy. There is no accountability. There is only ego.
Traders will become better traders by not momentarily impressing anonymous posters and lurkers. And 'all that' traders with porgie-like accuracy and consistency, might do themselves well looking for a place where there is accountability or at very least, where emotional benefits come from the knowledge that others are truly benefiting. That assumes the need to make calls is so others become benefactors, and not solely based on ego-food. If the latter, a place where expertise is accounted for and therefore recognized might reduce ego-based needs. ET is not that place. If 1% of people call me a martian, I don't care. If 50% of people call me a martian, I may or may not explore that. If 100% of people call me a martian, which if any, validation do I seek?
Good morning,
Osorico [Klingon, not martian]
