CF=Confirming Factors. I take that statement back about 10-15%. That is just a possible scenario. I will be expecting a pullback. The extent of that pullback will probably be a decent size but the area will probably be retested at a later date.

i think walking away is a good idea.

Keep in mind that globex could crash and you stop would be worthless and you will not be around to know in order to hedge on ecbot.

Personally, I don't see how an intra-day player can just walk away, even with stops and limit orders set. Trading that short of time frame, the variables are always changing. Maybe tighten up the stop or let the runner go a little more. But I CAN see walking away between trades to clear your mind so as to not trade out of revenge or greed. Just my .02, which is probably not worth that much...lol.

A: dude, we all know the calls aren't gospel. just one more opinion, maybe right maybe wrong. one more straw in the pile...we're not gonna sue ya if you're wrong....:D

v: about the crashing thing, ya that COULD happen, but i think we all know we're taking chances every day, any way. some people actually hold overnight or over weekend. and hedging only goes so far....anyhow, vo, i know i'm stalking ya and all, but you're honestly not the one i was outing, and i stand by my opinion...JUST WALK AWAY.

I was just pointing out that walking away may be good, but it still has it's risks. I prefer to get in and get out qucikly and then walk away. You probably already know this but in ES when using a limit stop it can blow through your stops and not get filled. Don't ask me how I found this out.

Some platforms allow you to GIVE a limit STOP a few extra ticks to be filled.

What we need is a STOP LOSS spot like a MIT order. Maybe some platforms heve solutions But have not kept up.

MIT, (market if touched) work great in pits where allowed.

Have fun today folks

Have you been trading the dead zone lately on your +/-1.5 ES strategy? I've been following it just for fun and the breakouts have been few and far between the last week, trading the zone was the way to make money with that strategy but how do you know beforehand? Need one of those fancy crystal balls that apex has I guess :D.
