porge do you post any calls here? don't mean to be offensive but you seem to provide lots of general trading advice, but no calls. I am interested in seeing your trading results. Like I said, i don't mean to offend you in any way.

i have but bvery few for small points....oso......i just simply don't know as i was into system developing more than trading big contracts.1 or 2 just for realtime trades......the fills are much better on nq......volume difference...es was what i had 400 5 min charts on and it was great....es nnow is dead duck for me..it once had 15 to 20 pt runs 2 or 3 times a day most of time...end to end

have fun guys i offend too many to talk about it....our system is 18 days realitme data is nq 7:30 to 3:00.......86%....according to brother genius...totally mechanical...no thinking allowed on read the signals....only 1 signal ....am saying this to encourage you, not to offend.......this works same on all eminis ....filters fakeouts and short point moves....over 90% is you start after 9:00 cst...super robust system....not for gift nor sale......just saying this to say it can be done.....last 2 days 100% ....i hope everyone can get there some day....b1 is skilled enough now that he can do maybe better than mmost with a 40% system ....if he wishes....that is simply what he says......milk the runs...until the cows come home....

I have been watching the ym for a bit and thinking about adding it to my plan on certain days. How are the fills? Do you think you can get filled on 30 cars on ET's over 70% of the time.?

Personally, I don't trade that size. But it would depend on your setup I would say. YM, because of its granularity (1 tick) has tendency to "back and fill" for lack of better term, in very narrow ranges (2-3 ticks either side) before more directional ticking.

That's not going to be a problem.

Just scale-in with predefined Lot Size at multiple intervals.

For example: 20 Lots broken down to 4 entries of 5 Lots every 5 to 10 seconds. You'd consistently get all of your fills within +/- 3 (1 pt) ticks of each other. You could also use a similar process for scaling-out.

Works pretty well on NT.

Play around with it, IMHO it's one of the best ways to trade size when you have a good short-term signal system which delivers multiple opportunities for high-prob trades.

:) :D ... same page (lets me know I'm doing something right!) :p

Good trading to ya,

Thanks for the responses. Ya I am using Ninja, pretty nice for futures. A lot of times I like to take a portion of my trade off at 5-8 ticks and just add more on retest, thinking of it as a gift. I just cant stand getting printed and the market taking off and never looking back. This is primarily why I stopped trading the ES. I front run as it is but theres a point when you cant front run to much as you are adding additional risk. I have been watching the ym and it seems like people front run that even more so than the russel. I guess Ill just have to try it out when the time seems fit.

Right. Frontrunning is prevalent on YM. Again, because of the granularity. Just be wary of getting isolated if you are wrong.

Speaking of ER and YM, there's nice divergence between the two ATM, I'd clock the nice 2-3 bills and wait for the next setup if you're Long.
