Attached is the monthly SP futures as they look right now. This is the direction of the market overall. I have no problem taking short trades against that if the weekly is bearish. Right now, it's not, so I advocate buying when fresh strength emerges. There definitely is a school of thought that says short term you can go either way. It's just that the probability of the market going higher is stronger than it declining for an extended period of time which is what I have interest in. I would guess that over the past several months that shorts have been burned more than what was gotten back today. In other words, I still believe it is best to trade in the direction of the overall trend.
Looks like some in here are daytrading, princessa, romik, brightstone and others. Looks like B1S2 has reverted to positions. Others are probably daytrading also.
My point being that it will be easier to know who is doing what and easier to see where they are coming from if i and possibly others knew what charts they are looking at. Maybe it is just me because i am new in this thread and admit i did not go back and read all the posts. HA, this is a long thread. :eek:
Looks like porkypoo is trying to reinvent himself, just a matter of time before he starts nonsense again. Porky, please get a hobby and not come back in and be a moron. We are trying to make money in here.
Have fun all of you guys, the new day tomorrow maybe will bring some some goodies. I probably will not be in, gotta go get lab tests to see if all is ok inside, needles taking blood, i hate needles, but better to get checkups as we get older for sure, i am 54 and looking for approx 30 more.

PS...forgot to say my trime frame, i use a 5 minute chart only. ES only, i found it was a better idea to trade one thing and do best to trade as little as possible for max runs as possible. Thks

Before you boys and girls whine me off this time.......2 and 5 min charts...that's the ticket.....bighog, I thought you might be a fair trader until you mentioned don't trade the early morning whipsaw....not even close...indicator says u r not even close.....to being for real......and tortilla peddler volente says watch it run 10 points to grab 2....hellooooo........b1 is best here, he is position trader and makes no bones about it........
