The beauty of trading is that there are many different types of styles for many different types of traders.

By seeing other traders employ different techniques, that gives anyone reading the thread a reference point of knowledge sharing to work from in their trading.

Anyone looking to take short-scalps with about $1,000 worth of margin can learn a lot from how you take your trades.

Based on my own work and information that I've gained from this thread and others I've move my stop out to 4 pts (ES or equivalent) instead of 2pts.

This has increased my hit rate to about 80%, on a trade which can go anywhere from 2pts to 10pts (or more) in my favor ... I really like those odds.

I sold that one because it is hard to change your style :) I had a sell on my 1min and it was screaming at me.

Here is a better chart of the 5min

Got an early Short, the Long came through, I'm a happy camper and off to work ... oh OK, now I'm not so happy :( .

Nah, work allows me to do what I want to do, perfect it and succeed at it, so it's full-speed ahead.

P.S. Just in case you're wondering, the Long was a volente_00 10pt reversal trade.
