Romik, I just wanted to mention something to you about the approach that you were using and that I had tested for a couple of weeks.--Flipping I believe you called it, while I called it whipsawing.--It works much better when using the grail divergence system simply due to the fact that fills are so much better ie catching the turns etc. If you go back to the first part of this journal, you will see where I was adding to each "probe" and the result was very good.

Point taken. But wouldn't grail based entries incur potentially larger stops? I would like to benefit from a decent move here.

You could make your stop a lot smaller than what I did. Also, by entering on a narrow range bar as opposed to a wide range bar, you may have a better stop positioning.

Did you take a second short and get stopped out? What was the stop out price?

No, this is my second short, I was stopped out the first one at 1436.75

Short 1437.5 same stop, target

I think right now you are fighting the 30 minute and 60 minute chart trends. Late in the day as well. --at least you are keeping the stops small.

I don't understand then how your stop was the same since you entered at 1437.50.

Probably another loser, but hey. who knows! On another note what program do you guys use to upload files, my Sierra charting only saves them as bmp

can't you choose Gif or Jpeg or PNG at the time of saving to your PC?

Option is copy to chart.bmp in Sierra charting. I'll fiddle with it over the weekend Romik.
