For purposes of this journal, all ES trades I make will stand on their own merit without the aid of out of the money call sales. Do I still sell them? Yes, but this is a directional journal and so that aspect will not be discussed by me going forth. The idea is to have directional trades that are earners by themselves. :)

Man, you really know your levels.

I used to use'm myself, now I just look at price momentum in relationship to oversold and overbought status (try to catch turns).

The market's really trying to hold here, but the Nazz doesn't want to play along (actually, if it holds here, the bottom'll be in) ... um, for the day.

Speaking of market turns, Romiks flipping technique will work in pretty much any situation except a tight consolidation pattern (or it might work then also if he can take X number of turns, where X is always greater than the last turn before the breakout).

The dollar amount required for that is probably about $20K per trade - starting with one contract (that's if you're aggressive, $30k is moderate and $40k is conservative).

Good Trading,

JJ

I vote for a 2 pm breakdown. Should start in any moment...

OK so sue me, it was late by 15 minutes...

At least you had a better entry point. :)

what is this bullshit. Look at the divergence between the er and es. I should have bought russel puts, this is ridicolous. Here is the updated chart from the 5 wave move I called out to the exact point and also stated that 793 was a MINIMUM profit target, not a completion. Now trading 26 points below the entry.... priceless
