Quote from elbow:

When entering the trades sometimes, my fingers freeze. I need help in that area. By the way, the 5 minute time frame is what all the smart seasoned daytrading professionals use. Why argue with success? Right?

That's right Porgie

buy low sell high..........trend is your friend.............he who hesitates after the pullback buys high and sells low...you join the crowd when u do that and the crowd is losing.... high low is where the edge is.....B1's reaction high and reaction low. ... tell him thank you.....

Quote from Buy1Sell2:

Experiment with the breakout/breakdown strategy will be concluded after the current long trade plays itself out. --Even thought the system is profitable, I have determined that my method of divergence/grail utilizing reaction highs/lows is much more profitable.

Happy New Year to all!

B1 Here is a variation of your method.

10 min chart
200ma Entry/Reverse
100ma Trailing Stop

Entry: If 10 min bar closes above 200ma, then Long on open of next bar. Reverse position if any future bar closes below 200ma.

Trailing Stop: When holding position if any 10 min bar closes below 100ma, then close position.

Wait for price to breach 200ma and repeat.

Vice versa when first 10 min bar closes below 200ma.

Unlike reaction H/L method requires basic programming for automation.

I would call realtime a couple tomorrow but playtime is history for me....end of system development road. ......buy low sell high trend is your amigo......adios....pick b1's brain and trade long term........daytrading comments here not working.....have a good trading life each and every one of you.....
