Quote from Buy1Sell2:

Before, I would use a mental stop most of the time and then initiate a limit order to get my price. By virtue of immediate placement, my stops now must be a great deal ahead of most other stops in line. One trade yesterday in another electronic market, I actually received a fill that was two ticks better than my stop price. What this tells me is that most folks in the markets are not placing stops immediately or perhaps not at all. Can we benefit from their reticence? I would think so.

One other possibility exists and that is this: Most traders may not place their stops where I do and as such I am not competing with others for fills. Most traders probably don't use my "outside the noise" strategy and instead place stops inside the noise where they are a tremendous feeding ground for the experienced sharks.

So far so good. I picked up 17.25 pts on the 3rd leg of that sequence of trades which offset the 10.75 pt loss yesterday.
(Right now, I am having some better success in the Euro FX as you may know!).

So what's the Net so far per unit?

Yes, my EUR long is also looking good, nice one!

Well I guess you would have to say it's roughly 1 pt per contract gain. Not fantastic but not a loss either. I didn't quite catch the big one, but my position increasing recouped the small lossed from yesterday.

stopped manually and reversed long 1433.25. Back to initial position size. Stop and reverse short at 1426.00 with increased size. Order sitting in the queue already.

I will add long at 1435.50 on a buy stop.

B1S2, bootiful long set-up, especially considering the way the hourly looked at the time. Lovely jubbly.

Yes, it was a very classic one. It hasn't yielded a ton of points yet, but I am holding long here with you
