b1s2, if you could comment.

I have noticed how for some reason all assets classes across unrelated markets seem to be moving in tandem.

During the past few weeks on several occasions prices for currencies, indices, metals, energy, grains and interest rates have moved together.

Fridays selloff in everything listed above is another clear example.

Is this something that happens from time to time....or do you think there is another reason ?

Thanks !

I really don't know.

B1, you mentioned the intraday relationship between ES and EURO FX. It does seem to be so. If you get a strong buy signal in EURO FX and also in the ES, what would be your actions?

I believe it to be only intraday inverse, so I don't do anything with it. I just watch the individual charts.

Assuming you were daytrading, would you open 2 long positions or not?

If the VIX continues it's slide, we should have a clear for the much anticipated breakout.

If it breaks 10.50 good, but if it breaks 10.00 it's a done deal.

:)
