INTC moved aggressively up in the last two days. I hope it worked out for you. You see what I mean!

That is why I do straddles and strangles on my option trades. I don't have to be right this way I just need more movement to make my money. If things really work out I will make money on both sides.

My calls have made some good money. This is the way I would have preferred anyway. When I bought into this straddle I was bullish on it anyway. Last week I turned bearish and I was wrong to change like that. My calls expire in Dec so I would love to see a Santa Clause rally. My puts expire in April just in case it crashes after the New Year. But I will give you your props you were right on this one.

Cheers,
Gary

2 contracts will solve the problem. Exit with 2 points and ride the last one with stop @ be. Scale out strategy. Smartest of all. do the same with 10 or 20 contracts. always put money in the bank when you can.

did they come to a conclusion on that thread on why it's inferior to scale out but not inferior to scale in?

i bet you the next time i try to hold on to a winner longer it will reverse on me. :)

Gary,

I will try to type properly. Thanks for the warning. I wouldn't want him to compare me to the big loser porgie. Cheers, and thanks for the warning.

I don't think it really changed anybody's mind one way or the other. I figure if you are one of the few making money consistantly stick with what you are doing. You made 3 points today while a lot of people lost a lot of money. Could you have made more, sure but you could have lost more also.
