B1, question here, as most that eyeball intraday charts, I've noticed that price starts to shift when hourly/240 approaching closing bar (smaller TFs as well), right now there is a possible long grail on the hourly chart, so if a long grail presents itself right now on 15, would you take it or wait for the hourly to complete in 30 minutes and then make a decision?

If I am trading the 15, I would go ahead.

what would you say is the current significant reaction high for <=60 min? 1387.75 (overnight session) or 1393 (yesterday's high)

shorter time frames would generally have a lower holding pattern and yes, I would say typically that 8 points would be a bit much although very desirable. I must mention something to you here though- The longer frames can be seen on the shorter frames if you look at them correctly. You need to identify SIGNIFICANT reaction highs/lows to be able to hold on the shorter charts.

yesterday's high . Your continuous chart has had a nice long grail on 15. Is anybody still currently long?

my papertrade is long

someone told me a while back the proper chart to use was the continuous chart...

It may have been me, but I have come to believe that the RTH provides great opportunities as well. They both should be looked at.

brightstone i think there is something wrong with your rsi. it doesn't look like mine. i don't see that spike in rsi right before the long grail.

edit: actually i think your chart is just really squished together.
