how can the second trough complete a long grail if there's is short grail in between? doesn't the short grail reset it?

so the pattern you're talking about is divergence?

Grails don't have to have divergence to be successful. They can be stronger that way though. The middle long grails do have divergence.==perhaps a quintuple by some traders accounting. I personally see a divergence spread out from the first long grail to the middle long grail and it's a class A. One thing about my method that I have mentioned a lot of times, is that I like space between the RSI troughs.

Most times there would necessarily be short grails in between to drive price down to create divergence. There may or may not be a long grail at the first part of the pattern.:)

Daytraders watch that ole 3 minute today. Long pattern not complete, but the seeds are being sown. May not happen, but worth watching here. If I am around and it completes, I will post it.

This is what I am seeing on the three minute. It looks to break to the upside. I have played three shorts today. Is this representative of your long grail for the day? I might be misunderstanding you.

Just found this forum. Traded futures for years then had some broker problems and looking to get back into futures again. any feedback on brokers with stable platforms and decent intraday charting would be appreciated

Hello Romik,
I was comparing your chart and mine and the RSI seems to be different.

This is a recent chart.

Is it the same? If not any suggestions.... I would like to test more on the grail system you are using and the charts are too smooth on my side. If I use a 5 it is too "jumpy"

1. What time zone are your charts?
2. My RSI is set to (14,1)
3. Even if setting is the same RSI algo might be different, so there will be differences. But you should be seeing same patterns though, even if they don't look identical.
