Nice uptrend, past 1313.

Not a prediction, but much of OCT tends to favor polar bears;
ES,SPY, QQQQ, derivatives:cool:

There is one thing to remember however--The 4th quarter is historically considered the strongest quarter for the market.

Stopped out
This is the reason that I use low leverage position trades and wide stops. Most stops are usually taken out by noise. My view is that stops should be placed well outside where the market has traded recently. Now, if you are daytrading and using a tight stop like you just did, then I recommend a larger position on the next "probe". :)

I don't disagree, but if we HAD reversed from that selloff I had a trade with very good upside on very small risk. Most of my ES trades are continuation trades vs reversal trades like I tried today. The only reason I took that trade is because I would know very quickly if it wasn't going to work, hence the tight stop.

b1s2, just wanted to thank you for your time and consideration reg the questions I posed on the Pabst thread.

I have a few more questions to ask if you don't mind, but I don't want to be imprudent. Please let me know if it's cool with you. Thx.

Cheers ! :)
